We ask guests to arrive 15-30 minutes before the tour to enjoy some of the other lovely establishments on the farm. We share space with Aloha Ola Farm they serve up smoothies, acai bowls, and frosties. Ohi Ohi Farm Stand which provides our community with an excellent selection of farm fresh produce, fruit, local meats, eggs, and beautiful craft items. As well as Nanea Coffee, a super fun vibe coffee truck that serves up coffee, cacao, and a great selection of teas.
We start the tour with an introduction to who we are and our mission for our farm. We love hearing some information about our guests and have some time to connect as a group. We then make our way to the orchard areas of the farm as well as walk through Garden Ponds Nursery, an aquatic nursery that has been on the farm for 20 years. We’ll explore the farm and it‘s abundance of fruit trees. Sampling some as we go!
Then after we will provide a fresh fruit, homemade farm chocolate, & farm fresh honey tasting. We provide herbal tea and water.
We are so excited to share about the process of making chocolate, from bean to bar. We have an assortment of flavors to try and we are always experimenting with more. We have our chocolate and honey available for sale at the tour as well at Ohi Ohi Farm Stand.
We love kids! We try to make our tour as fun and accessible for any age possible and have games, rest spots, and even some farm animals !

The cost of our tour is $95.00 per adult, and $40.00 per child (3-14yrs old, 2 & under are free.) We are happy to offer kama`aina rates. We look forward to sharing our oasis with you!

We are a family farm located right off Kuhio highway in Kīlauea.You might have been here before to experience the famous banana frosty at the legendary Banana Joe’s Fruitstand, owned and operated by my uncle, Joe Halasey. Kīlauea Jungle Oasis Farm and Farm Tours are now run by Joe‘a niece, Robin Kutkowski, and her partner Benjamin Mock.
My grandpa, Dr. Tom Halasey bought this property in 1975, with plans to retire with his wife Blair Halasey, and settle back into life as a farmer and homesteader. It is a farm grown from love and a desire to inspire. Tom loved hosting his own farm tours to family and friends from around the world. As a kid I got to spend most of my days at this farm, enjoying frosties from Banana Joes, and cruising around with my siblings and cousins. It is home. The property is a 5 acre fruit farm including over 200 cacao trees, mamey sapote, jackfruit, durian, lychee, eggfruit, avacado, noni, sugarcane, vanilla, mangosteen, chikoo, caimito, and lots more! Our farm wouldn't be here without the hard work of my grandpa and uncle who had a passion for exotic fruit, and agriculture.
Aloha! We are Ben and Robin. We are the hosts of Kīlauea Jungle Oasis, and care takers of this farm. We offer farm tours, homegrown chocolate, as well as some other treats to take home. It is our goal to provide our guests with an unforgexperience! Where we will be learning about tropical agriculture, native Hawai‘ian plants, the farming history of Kīlauea, exotic fruit, and how to be more sustainable in your own home. Ben has a double degree from University of Victoria, BC in environmental studies and biology. He has spent the last 9 years farming in Hawaiʻi and is passionate about permaculture, sustainability, and food security. Robin has spent the last 12 years working as a licensed massage therapist, yoga instructor, and esthetician, with a focus in thai massage and herbalism to support health and vitality. We are both passionate about nature and protecting our precious resources, our responsibility to the āina.

We offer a donation based weekly yoga class on the farm every Tuesday from 5:30-6:45pm. Our classes are for all levels of practitioners, unheated, with the assistance of props. We do offer samples of our chocolates as well. Monthly we offer Chocolate Chant Church. Both classes are offered in our yoga yurt. Please reach out for more information.
